18 Months Old!

My how time flies! Eric is 18 months old and is a bundle of sweetness with a dash of vinegar! He is entering the "terrible two's" slowly (at least he is warming us up). He is mostly a funny, sweet little boy- until he doesn't get his way- then WATCH OUT!!! He is very strong and can deliver a good kick if you aren't paying attention.

We taught Eric a little sign language to help communicate since his words are hard to decipher. He can do more, help, thank you, please, and all done. When he is really excited, he confuses them all and does each one til he gets to the one he needs! His favorite words are car-ree (car- he tells us when every single car goes by) and happle (help). He can say cat- but we don't really know what he is saying...it's jus the same every time he sees a cat. Doggy is pretty clear. The best is that he calls his Grandpa Dan- Tampa. I hope it sticks because it's awfully cute!

He still loves his baby sister, but I think the honeymoon is starting to end! He wants me to hold him all the time (no easy feat at 30 lbs and almost 3 feet tall) and gets into lots of trouble when Allison is being fed and he isn't getting attention. All in all- he's a good boy and we are enjoying almost every minute of him!
