Here Comes Peter Cottontail...

scaring the crap out of kids on the bunny trail...Hippity Hop and Easter's on it's way!

We took the kids to sit on the Easter Bunny, which turned into a family affair to avoid the inevitable childlike "WTF?" that happens when the kids see the Easter Bunny.  Upon sitting on the large, family sized couch (they were smart and anticipated scared kids) Eric freaked out, as did Allison, but they both calmed down quickly.  Allison calmed once she realized she was still sitting on my lap, and Eric freaked for a second and then became very invested in picking the Easter Bunny's nose, so much that it was difficult to find a picture without him turned sideways with his finger in the large nose. (That man under the scary head must have the patience of a saint).  After looking at the pictures and trying to convince the snotty teenager that "no the picture is not pixelated (sp?), his eyes are, in fact, closed" we were able to choose a decent family photo where no one is crying and everyone is looking at the camera!  Hallelujah!  Happy Easter to all, and to all a no-bunny fright night! (In case you hadn't guessed, I have become increasingly freaked out by gigantic easter bunnies since having children.  I promise not to project my fears onto my children!)

  1. Glad to see you made the trip to see the big bunny, as much trouble as it was you will be glad if nothing else then for the story. You really should write! Happy Easter Little ones!
